I know that I have passed you along to Katherine (Arnold) Wolf's blog in the past. She is my college friend who had a brain aneurysm two years ago and has been fighting hard to recover physically and emotionally. In the post I am about to share, she expresses the reasons in which she and her husband are still together despite their horrific odds. Most marriages that suffer such life altering changes do not make it. The Wolfs are choosing to love one another in spite of their circumstances...maybe even because of them.
Katherine Wolf, your heart for the Lord and His purposes continues to bless me. Thank you for not running from Him when things got tough. Thank you for your humor that has sustained you in tough times. Thank you for knowing that clinging TO Him would be the only way to get through your dark hours. I am encouraged by you and encouraged for you. The Lord is shining mightily through your family and your commitment.
Jay Wolf, you are the quintessential gentleman, warrior and hero. Thank you for your leadership, service and humility. You certainly are an example of a man who loves his wife as Christ loves the church.
