Nesting #1

Although I don't think I have a super addictive personality, I have noticed that lately I am "nesting". You know...what pregnant people usually do when their baby is on the way? Cleaning out, organizing, reorganizing and cleaning some more....that is me. I am not sure if it is because I have been in graduate school for the last few years and haven't had time to do these things, or if I am just on a roll. Either way, it feels G-O-O-D!

Today I will begin posting about some things that have helped me get organized!

Let go.

I am the queen of feeling sorry for my clothes that I rarely wear. I keep them in my closet, move them with me several times to several locations, and STILL don't wear them. Who should we really be feeling sorry for here? ME. I can't let go. I am in the process of being realistic when I look at my closet and am getting rid of the things that I force myself to wear. Ridiculous.

Honestly, I would rather wear the same thing every day and feel good in it than wear some of these pitiful ensembles I come up with because I can't let go.

And, all of those bridesmaid dresses that I always meant to have shortened to wear again....I am vowing to pass them on this week. A good friend from high school began a charity in Scottsdale, AZ. where you can donate dresses to underprivileged girls so they can go to the prom. Here is the link in case any of you would like more room in your closet, too...

Let me know what other tips you have for cleaning out your clothes closets....
