There is a great organization called "Drop in and Decorate" that will supply a group of willing cookie decorators with coupons and other baking supplies for their time. Their goal is to have people make festive cookies that they will donate to a good cause. My discipleship group got word that a local Crisis Pregnancy Center was having a Christmas banquet for the families that have received their services and chosen not to abort their babies. So, I wrote the people at D.I.A.D. and began the process of hosting a "Drop in and Decorate event". They sent us some coupons from Pillsbury that would make our decorating virtually free! It was a lot of fun to be together, and to know that our efforts would bless this incredible ministry. You don't have to wait for a holiday to do this, you can make and donate cookies at any time and receive the coupons from them! Check it out and happy decorating!
